How to let her down gently?

im a girl and about your age so i would start talking to her nice and gentile and then if she starts giving you hints about you and her, just say something like"I really think your sweet and i like you but i would really like to stay friends with you for now... and keep being nice and calm if she gets mad then try to comfort her and make her feel like "you care about her. IF(and i say if) its the right time (*HINT*) you could say something like "i might would like a chance with you in the future but i don't want one now"... and that MIGHT make her feel like shes special. but don't make er feel like you don't care about her feelings.... that's the worst thing you could possibly do. JUST BE REALLY CALM AND GENTILE!!!! if this doesn't work... sorry(squeaky voice)
