Husband has got indefinite leave to remain bt would apply for his british pport?

thxs for ur ans,but need to ask my husband has got his indefinite and am doing same day service as where i work they have seen my visa expires june 4th so i was asked if i could get it soon and its a new job i started,i want to ask again my husband wont be going with me as he would be signing on the day i am going for my interview(job seekers allowance) told my lawyer and he said my husband can back me up with a letter is that ok?
