Salads for weight loss?
Obviously salads and soups are very healthy and you will benefit from including those in your diet, but that might not work on its own. Sure you are allowed a treat every now and then, but you need to try and get at least 2 or 3 of your 5 a day recommendation to start a healthier living. You can actually eat what you want as long as you exercise, so the salads and soups are not essential, you can continue with your current diet. Also, its not just what you eat, it is also how you eat. For example, people who eat fast are prone to putting on weight because their brain doesn't have time to send signals to their stomach that they are eating, therefore it is stored as fat. However, if you eat slowly and ensure that you chew your food properly, you will feel more satisfied and your body will use all up the food in the form of energy to suit your work schedule. Just take your time with this, aim for a pound or two a week, that's a healthy amount of weight to lose, its not to quick and not to slow.
