I am ordering a pair of Jonas Brothers sweatpants. It says they're on backorder. What does that mean?

I am ordering these from the Jonas Brothers Merch website. The kind that I want says that my size are on back order. I'm just wondering what that means? And if I go ahead and order them, will i still get them?
