I need help finding the title of an old kung fu movie!?

When i was a kid i has an old VHS tape of this awesome kung fu movie. To this day i thought it was bruce lee and im still not convinced it wasn't. Through my research online with bruce lee movies i know it is nothing listed that he has done. In the movie the hero (bruce lee) sets on a journey freeing prisoners to help him fight on his way. I remember one of the 'helpers' was a murderer. I also remember at one point in the movie the hero 'bruce lee' pretended to have leprosy. Another part i remember was a scene where he had to fight a snake handler. The snake handler was grabbing cobras before they striked. Any one with ANY IDEAS AT ALL please help. This is eating on me.
