I just hit my temple, help....?

My brother just tried to slam a door on me but it hit the side of my head across my temple and jaw. I came really sharp, enough for me to shout out. I'm realy paranoid cos I heard if you hit you're temple it can be really serious. I don't have a headache or feel dizzy but I am shaking, though I think that is cos I'm panicking. My jaw feel stiff and so does the bit above my temple and it hurts a bit as well as there being a lump. It also twinges up the side of my head if I clench my jaw. My parents are out so I can't ask them. I'm a hyperchondriac so I am probably over reacting. :( Still it is hurting a bit, should I just put ice on it? Thanks.
