After the Israeli defeat in Lebanon , isn�t Israel strategically irrelevant?

Israel was not beaten, they just got a beating, but I believe they gave better than they got. Hezbollah lost more men and equipment than Israel. Only world opinion had them put the brakes on for now. And world opinion stopped them only because Hell-zbollah were using civilian women and children for shields. Hell-zbollah care very little for human life. They care only about their cause. They will kill every Jew they can. They are users not protectors. They will not spare a life if an Israeli dies. Whether that life is Arab, Lebanese, or an innocent of their own people. And to hell with everyone else.
