How do I patch the hole in my room that I fell in through?

I went in the attic to run a Ethernet cable from my roommates room to mine and we didn't want the cords just running across the floor or the ceiling so we ran it through the attic. While I was up there everything was fine until my knee slipped off of the beams and it landed on the drywall ceiling and I almost fell through. Now there is a 3 foot by 4 foot hole in my bedroom ceiling. How to do I repair this fast before my landlord sees it???
