I was reading the bible and im confused help please?

"different authors, who had different purposes in writing, and different points of view" is that the "word of God" you Christians so highly rever? Dont get me wrong; there is some wisdom in the book as there is in people too. But I would not follow a book unless it is Absolute, I had full belief in it, no doubt, and it was flawless--after all isn't that what God is? Flawless? Why are all of you beating around the bush with these evident contradictions. Good question. Peace.
